Kairos is a Greek word meaning ‘moment of destiny’, and the Kairos Foundation was established with the goal of becoming a global educational resource for the future. It aims to empower people everywhere with practices that develop personal potential and help overcome human separateness in the world. Over the past 20 years it has helped many thousands of individuals transform their vision of life, and has worked with schools, universities, graduate programs, non-government organizations and government agencies on four continents, including eight penal institutions.

The More To Life Mentor Program is currently offered in ten different countries, and includes what has become the world’s largest and most successful program for Self Esteem Enhancement. Our training materials, books, videos and audio tapes have been translated into Spanish, French, German, Finnish, Gujurati, and Zulu, and reached thousands of disadvantaged South Africans through job centers, church organizations, teachers’ unions, and women’s resource groups. They join business leaders, professors, counselors, politicians and many others to whom our work has brought a vision of new possibilities in their lives, and the life of all those they touch.

One of the aims of the Foundation is to be available to as diverse a social range as possible, and to this end we keep all our fees as low as we can. We are aided in this by teachers who work at lower cost than in the commercial sector, volunteers whose work supports our administrative overheads, and financial donations from both individual and corporate sponsors. All our sponsors have the satisfaction of knowing that they are investing in skills and practices which help people to transform their sense of themselves, re-envision their deepest purposes, and enhance their contribution they make to their families and to the world around them.
